Information for Coalville Festival Sunday 12th October
Firstly, please allow yourselves plenty of time to get to the venue and get parked. Last year it took nearly an hour just to get in due to volume of traffic.
We will be having a couple of gazebo’s set up as a meeting point which will also have a Leicester Lions Flag flying so you can find us. We will meet here before dispersing to the appropriate areas for your child’s age group as we will need to take some kind of register to ensure we have all our players. Please aim to arrive by 9.30 at the very latest (unless your team manager has told you otherwise) so we are fully organised and the children can get warmed up before starting their games.
Below is the timescale for the different age groups, but take it with a pinch of salt as games are likely to over run and do not always start on time. If you think you are unable to stay for the duration, then please let your team managers know.
U7 and U8 will start at 10am and finish at approx. 11.30/12pm
U9 and U11 will start at 10.30am and finish at approx. 2pm.
There is an entrance fee to get into the ground which is £3 per car and £1 per pedestrian. Food and drink is available all day, although it is advisable to bring some of your own. Please make sure you have enough water for your children and that you bring suitable clothing for the weather which could be either waterproofs or suncream!
