Grey joins the club following a season playing for the Royal Navy. He started the annual Army vs Navy game at Twickenham at fly half but is just as comfortable at inside centre. He has previously played at his local club Old Laurentians as well as Launceston (Cornish All Blacks).

Head coach Gareth Collins commented: ‘’I watched Greg play a number of times for the Navy last season and he really impressed me with his vision, distribution and solid defence. His positional versatility will also give us some option to attack in different ways. Most importantly I really like the way Greg conducts himself and talks about the game. He will definitely add to the culture we are building.’’

Greg commented: ‘’I am really looking forward to being back at the club after my short stint at the start of last season, and be part of a team that plays a style of rugby that will be expansive and enjoyable.’’
