Leicestershire-based property consultants TMDP Group has signed a three year sponsorship deal, as Main Sponsor, that will see the architectural design and construction organisation provide long-term backing for the club.

TMDP Group, which incorporates architectural design and property management consultancy TMDP LLP and construction and project management company TMDP Special Projects, has pledged its support to the North League 2, amateur rugby club to the tune of £60k.

The sponsorship package, which will go towards the club’s first and second teams newly designed home and away playing kit, wet and dry training kit, after-match wear, coaches equipment and club expenses, will enable the Leicester Lions to focus solely on its teams and players without the long-term financial burdens that plague many amateur sports clubs.

The new TMDP branded kit, produced by Zoo Sport, was revealed recently with a helping hand from Leicester Tigers and England rugby legend Martin Johnson, who has a long association with the club.
