New Signing Kaz Henderson

Leicester Lions are pleased to announce the signing of Kaz Henderson.

Kaz joins the club from relegated National 2 North side Peterborough Lions. He is a powerful back who can play at centre, wing or full-back. Kaz also featured for East Midlands this season.

Head Coach Gareth Collins commented: ‘‘Kaz had an injury-hit season last year so was never able to fully show what he could do in National 2. He really impressed in the games he did play for them though. He is a strong, powerful outside back, with all the attributes needed to be a top player at this level. He will give us some much needed depth in that area and will add strong competition to the guys we already have.’’

Kaz commented: "Leicester Lions is an excellent club with a young and talented squad that likes to play rugby, and I can't wait to get on board for the new campaign in Nat 2 South."
